The 55000-440APO monitors temperature using a single thermistor network, which generates a voltage output proportional to the surrounding air temperature. The detector processes this signal and transmits it to the fire alarm control equipment in the same way as an XP95 ionisation smoke detector, ensuring seamless integration within compatible systems.
