The Apollo Marine Intelligent Base Mounted UV Flame Detector (55000-027MAR) is designed to protect enclosed indoor areas where open fires may be expected. Using a single ultraviolet (UV) sensor with a narrow spectral response, the detector provides rapid and reliable flame detection while helping to minimise false alarms from non-fire sources of radiation.

The 55000-027MAR delivers a fast response to flames at distances of up to 25 metres, making it fitting for high risk marine and industrial applications where rapid flame detection is critical. The detector responds to both flickering and stationary flames and is highly sensitive to the ultraviolet radiation emitted during combustion.

Designed for smooth integration into marine fire detection systems, the detector operates using the Apollo XP95 or Discovery digital protocol works with CoreProtocol. Its compact design allows installation directly into Apollo Discovery Marine Bases, while its loop powered operation eliminates the need for an external power supply.
