The Apollo Discovery Marine Isolating Base (45681-286MAR) protects Apollo XP95 and Discovery fire detection loops and spurs by detecting and isolating short-circuit faults. By automatically disconnecting the affected section of the circuit, the base helps maintain operation across the remainder of the fire alarm system and minimises disruption caused by wiring faults.

The 45681-286MAR continuously monitors the loop for short-circuit conditions and reacts quickly when a fault occurs. When it detects a short circuit, the base isolates the affected section to prevent the fault from impacting the wider system. Once the fault has been removed, the isolating base automatically restores normal operation, helping maintain continuous fire protection.

Designed for marine fire detection systems, the base is loop powered, polarity sensitive, and accepts the Apollo XPERT 7 address card for quick and secure address configuration of the associated device.
