The Tyco C1631 Repeater Interface Board (2605061) is a communications interface module designed to connect fire alarm control panels to remote repeater panels. The board provides an RS485 communication port, enabling reliable data transfer between the main control panel and multiple repeaters.
A single C1631 interface board is required in the main fire alarm panel, with an additional C1631 fitted in each connected repeater. The system supports up to five repeater panels on a single RS485 network, allowing fire alarm status, alarms, faults, and system information to be displayed remotely.
