The Salwico HC100 D-IP67 (038022) delivers reliable heat detection in harsh and demanding environments. Firstly it is designed for use with all Salwico Fire Alarm Systems, the detector combines a heat detector, adapter, and base into a single robust unit, providing better protection against moisture, vibration, and other challenging operating conditions.
Furthermore the detector and adapter are moulded together and sealed with a special moulding compound, creating a highly durable assembly that cannot be separated. This construction makes the HC100 D-IP67 particularly fitting for marine, offshore, and industrial installations where standard detectors may be exposed to severe environmental conditions.
Besides that it uses a fast-acting thermistor heat sensing element, the detector quickly identifies temperature changes and provides reliable fire detection. When an alarm occurs, the detector immediately lights its integrated LED and keeps it active until the fire alarm system is reset.
