The Simtronics GDU Incus instantly detects gas leaks by hearing the sound that is generated when gas escapes, rather than to respond to a specific measurement of LEL or PPM. Due to this technology, a gas cloud does not need to come into direct contact with the detector. The Simtronics GDU Incus can withstand wind, fog or gas dilution and is suitable to be used outdoor.
