The Hochiki HCP-E Break Glass Manual Call Point is fully compatible with Hochiki’s ESP analogue addressable protocol. The HCP-E, which has a red LED mounted on the front cover, can be selected as pulsing/non-pulsing for communications polling.
The LED is continuously lit when the HCP-E is operating. Operating the unit can be done by pressing the EN54 compliant non-frangible (plastic) element and it produces a high level ESP interrupt. This allows a fast response of the control panel.
