The GMI SmartWireless Audio Visual Alarm Stations are designed to be used in both permanent and temporary installations. The GMI SmartWireless Audio Visual Alarm Station comes with a battery powered audio visual alarm that is designed as a wireless cordless system component. The GMI SmartWireless Audio Visual Alarm Station is rated for Class 1; Division 1, Groups C, D hazardous areas and Class I; Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D.
A smart battery pack provides power, and eliminates the requirement for any cables. The battery packs are rechargeable, and are able to deliver energy for 4-6 hours of continuous operation in full alarm condition mode, or 5-6 months in no alarm condition. The battery pack reports on its charge level and the estimated operating time before a recharge or replacement is needed. Solar charging panels can be used to extend the operating time and to maintain a full battery charge level for almost any application.
