The GMI GD10PE Extended Point Gas Detector is designed for critical applications that involve large volumes of air with high velocity. The GD10PE is suited to monitor the HVAC air intakes of living quarters, temporary refuges and local equipment rooms.
The GMI GD10PE can also monitor ventilation air and combustion air intakes of gas turbines with the ventilation air extract duct. This is the only location where gas leaks on a turbine package can be detected. The GMI GD10PE has a measuring range of 0-20% LEL, making it 5 times more sensitive than standard point Detectors.
The GD10PE utilizes silicon based, solid state IR sources. The design and construction of the GD10PE is so stable that an ultra fast response can be achieved.
