Tyco 711PH 516.900.102 Optical Smoke Detector

The Tyco 711PH (516.900.102) is a marine-approved optical smoke and heat detector designed to provide reliable fire detection in a wide range of applications. Replacing the Tyco 601PH-M, it combines optical smoke detection with heat sensing to improve fire detection performance and provide faster response to developing fire conditions.

The detector continuously monitors the surrounding environment by detecting smoke particles generated by a fire. In addition, a rapid increase in temperature automatically increases the detector’s sensitivity, helping it respond more quickly to potential fire events.

Built around a microprocessor-based design, the 711PH offers improved detection algorithms and automatic threshold compensation, helping extend detector life while reducing maintenance requirements and overall ownership costs.
