The Carries 06T is a Semi-Hermetic Twin Screw Compressor, suitable for air conditioning or refrigeration applications. The Carrier 06T is 15% smaller and lighter than comparable reciprocating compressors, and delivers up to 50% more capacity.
The twin screw design, with no suction or discharge reed valves, is tolerant to liquid flood-back. Vapor injection allows for mechanical subcoolers on low, medium and high temperature applications increasing system capacity and improving performance. Steady liquid temperatures feeding the evaporators also improves overall system stability.
