The Kongsberg GLA-300/H Radar Tank Gauge is used in asphalt and bitumen tankers. The Kongsberg GLA-300/H is designed with a horn antenna using a PFTE plaate to isolate the radar electronics from the tank atmosphere.
When used with a specially designed angular adapter, the GLA-300/H avoids direct radiation heat from the cargo. This reduces exposure to high temperatures and increases the life span of the GLA-300/H. The GLA-300/H ensures easy installation and the pressure transmitter is fully integrated mechanically, electronically and cabling wise.
