Tyco SNM800 Sounder Notification Module Minerva MX (577.800.005)

The Tyco SNM800 (577.800.005) is an addressable sounder notification module. Fesigned to provide additional monitored sounder or speaker circuits on Tyco Minerva MX fire detection systems. By adding remote notification circuits to the MX loop, it gives engineers greater flexibility when designing and expanding fire alarm installations.

The SNM800 can switch sounder and speaker circuits up to 2A at 24V DC. It also provide a monitored output for other control applications. Furthermore, it can be used alongside the sounder circuits already available on most MX fire alarm panels, enabling additional alarm devices to be connected where required.

For maximum installation flexibility, the module supports both Class B (Style Y) spur wiring and Class A (Style Z) loop wiring configurations. In addition, engineers can combine the SNM800 with a Tyco RIM800 Relay Interface Module to create a secure, monitored extinguishing release control solution.
