The Apollo Intelligent Open-Area Sounder (55000-001POL) provides powerful audible warning signals for fire alarm and emergency notification systems. Designed for use with Apollo XP95 and Discovery addressable fire alarm systems, the sounder delivers reliable alarm signalling in open areas while offering advanced monitoring and control capabilities.
Powered directly from the detection loop, the sounder eliminates the need for separate power supplies, helping to simplify installation and reduce wiring costs. Furthermore, its intelligent functionality allows the fire alarm control panel to monitor device status continuously, ensuring reliable operation and rapid fault identification.
The 55000-001POL offers a choice of industry-recognised alarm tones, including Apollo, Slow Whoop, and DIN tones. Users can also select between two sound output levels of 92 dB(A) and 100 dB(A) to suit the application and environmental conditions.
In addition, the sounder supports both individual and group addressing, enabling flexible alarm management across the fire detection system. Built-in synchronisation ensures all connected sounders operate in unison, creating a clear and consistent alarm signal throughout the protected area.
To further enhance system reliability, Apollo incorporates an integrated short-circuit isolator and self-test fault monitoring, helping maintain system integrity and simplify maintenance procedures.
