The Consilium Salwico UB-6 SCI (5200313-00A) provides a secure mounting platform for analogue addressable smoke, heat, and flame detectors while adding integrated short-circuit protection to the detection loop. Designed for installation in dry and clean environments, it helps maintain reliable fire detection system operation and improves loop fault tolerance.

Furthermore, the UB-6 SCI incorporates a built-in short-circuit isolator that automatically protects the loop if a short-circuit fault occurs. As a result, the system can continue operating on unaffected sections of the loop, helping to maximise fire detection coverage and system availability.

In addition, the short-circuit isolator function operates completely transparently and requires no configuration or manual settings. Engineers can simply install the detector base without additional commissioning steps. The base also supports cable entry from either the centre or the side, providing greater installation flexibility.
