Salwico UB-6 Detector Base (Part No. 044445)
The Salwico UB-6 (044445) provides a versatile and low-profile mounting solution for Salwico smoke, heat, and flame detectors. Designed for use in both addressable and conventional fire alarm systems, the UB-6 makes installation simpler while offering broad use across multiple detector series.
The UB-6 replaces several previous Salwico detector bases, allowing users to standardize installations and simplify spare parts management. Suitable for dry and clean environments, the base supports cable entry from either the center or the side, providing greater flexibility during installation.
The base is also prepared for SUM-2 assembly and supports an optional locking mechanism for detectors in the CN, EV, and EVC series. Using a 1.5 mm hexagon key, installers can secure detectors to the base to help prevent unauthorized removal or tampering.
