Tyco 811CH Carbon Monoxide & Heat Detector
The Tyco 811CH combines carbon monoxide (CO) detection and heat detection in a single device, enabling engineers to configure a wide range of detection modes within the MX fire alarm control panel. As a result, it provides a flexible solution for applications where traditional smoke detectors may be susceptible to unwanted alarms.
Furthermore, the 811CH is particularly well suited to sleeping accommodation, storage areas, and similar environments, where it can detect fire conditions while reducing the likelihood of false alarms caused by dust, steam, or other airborne contaminants.
The detector uses a highly reliable electrochemical carbon monoxide sensing cell alongside a high-specification low thermal mass thermistor. Consequently, it delivers accurate CO monitoring and precise temperature measurement, allowing the control panel to respond effectively to a wide range of fire scenarios.
