The Tyco 711P (516.900.101) is a conventional optical smoke detector and provides reliable and cost effective smoke detection for marine and commercial applications. Replacing the Tyco 601P-M, the 711P uses optical sensing technology to detect smoke particles generated by a fire, providing early warning and dependable performance.

Built around a micro processor based design, the detector incorporates advanced detection algorithms and threshold compensation to improve reliability, extend service life, and reduce maintenance requirements. Serves as a direct replacement for existing Tyco 600 Series detectors.

The 711P is designed for use on conventional two wire fire detection systems. These detectors are connected within zones and are monitoring the surrounding environment for signs of smoke.
