The GMI PS1 is a Portable Single Gas Detector, suitable for a wide range of applications, and is widely used in the oil and gas industry. The GMI PS1 is rugged, lightweight and extremely accurate that clips easily onto a collar or a vest. This places the GMI PS1 close to the breathing area for maximum user protection and safety. The user is alerted with audible, visual and vibrating alarms, should a gas be present.
The PS1 Bump Test and Calibration System is designed to give a fast visual indication that the instruments are calibrated correctly. Calibration is done in 90 seconds, while bump testing takes 60 seconds.
