The Crowcon Gas-Pro IR is a portable multi-gas detector, ideal for use in the oil and gas industry. The Gas-Pro IR is able to detect methane, pentane or propane using infrared (IR) technology. The IR measurement gives improved reliability and measures gas in two different wavelengths: one that absorbs gas and the other does not. The Gas-Pro IR Multi-Gas detector has little chance of being poisoned, is inherently safer and saves the need of regular and expensive pellistor replacement when used in likely contaminated environments.
