The Kidde Graviner MK7 is an auto addressed Oil Mist Detector (OMD). The Kidde Graviner MK7 can monitor up to 10 Detectors heads per control unit, on up to 10 control units. Each of the Detector heads monitors a single crank space. The engine mounted control unit can be configured to monitor 1 to 10 Detectors. Alarm levels and alarm output requirements are all set from the control unit, or from the optional display unit.
The Kidde MK7 has a touch screen display, which shows the signal from each detector and indicates the oil mist level for each engine. When there is an alarm, the MK7 Display shows the oil mist signals for the correct engine. Each of the Detectors that are connected to an engine can be displayed on demand, and displayed automatically under alarm conditions.
