The Viking DKS is approved according to SOLAS LSA-code, EC directive 96/98/EC. It is designed to be used onboard of passenger vessels. The DKS is a throw overboard self-righting liferaft. The Liferafts can be applied with slides or with chutes onboard of RO-RO passenger vessels. The Viking DKS can also be used as Liferaft for direct boarding from decks not higher than 1.5m above waterlevel on small ferries and passenger ships.
There are Viking DKS versions available for 25, 51, 101 and 150 persons.
