The General Monitors Second Sight TC Remote Gas Imaging Detection System is a system designed to provide an enhanced layer of safety in the detection of combustible and toxic gases. The General Monitors Second Sight Gas Imaging Detection System uses an uncooled micro bolometer array to identify and visualize gas leaks in real time.
The infrared (IR) remote Gas Detector is suited for simultaneously detecting several combustible and toxic gases inside an industrial site (up to 500 m). With a 60° field of view, General Monitors Second Sight provides wide, continuous monitoring of critical areas. The General Monitors Second Sight TC Remote Gas Imaging Detection System has an human machine interface (HMI) that allows operators to see gases as they are detected via infrared. This provides a unique picture of gas dispersal.
Furthermore, the HMI allows to mask different zones within the field of view of the camera thus eliminating possible sources that could trigger a false alarm. The General Monitors Second Sight TC Remote Gas Imaging Detection System requires no calibration in the field, but a gas calibration on site may enhance the gas detection performance.
