By incorporating IR (Infrared) Detection technology, the Crowcon Triple Plus+ IR extends the capability of the Triple Plus+ allowing extended life detection of hydrocarbons and carbon dioxide. Infrared sensons have high resistance to interference by other gases and that makes it suitable for both high gas concentrations and use in oxygen free ( inert ) backgrounds.

The design of the Crowcon Infrared sensor module used in the Triple Plus+ IR allows measurements of hydrocarbons at both %LEL and %vol. Thus making the Triple Plus+ IR ideal for tank and line purging applications within oil, gas and industrial applications.
