The Spectrex SafEye Quasar 900 is an Open Path Gas Detector which provides continuous monitoring for combustible gases. The Spectrex SafEye Quasar 900 uses Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (DOAS) technology to analyze the spectral fingerprint of the atmosphere.
The Spectrex SafEye Quasar 900 Gas Detector as a xenon flash IR Transmitter and an IR Receiver. They can be separated over a line of sight ranging from 7m up to 200m in harsh environments where dust, fog, rain, snow or vibrations can cause a high reduction of the signal.
