Crowcon SafEye 900 Open Path Line Of Sight IR Gas Detectors

The Crowcon SafEye Quasar 900 is an open path Gas Detector which provides continuous monitoring for combustible gases.

The Crowcon SafEye Quasar 900 is an open path Gas Detector which provides continuous monitoring for combustible gases. The SafEye Quasar 900 uses Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (DOAS) technique to analyze the spectral fingerprint of the atmosphere.

The Crowcon SafEye Quasar 900 has a xenon flash IR Transmitter and an IR Receiver. With a line of sight ranging from 7m up to 200m, the SafEye Quasar 900 detects gas hazards in rough environments where dust, fog, rain, snow or vibration can cause a high reduction of signal.

Both the receiver and the transmitter of the Quasar 900 are housed in a rugged, stainless steel, ATEX and IECEx approved enclosure. The main enclosure of the Quasar 900 is EExd flameproof with an integral, segregated, EExe increased safety terminal section.
