The Crowcon IREX IR pellistor replacement flammable Gas Detector is a sinter-free, infrared Gas Fetector that produces an mV Wheatstone Bridge output.

The Crowcon IREX IR pellistor replacement flammable Gas Detector is a sinter-free, infrared Gas Fetector that produces an mV Wheatstone Bridge output. In short, it is used to help measure the small variations in resistance that the sensing elements produce corresponding to a physical change. As is used on conventional pellistor based systems. The Crowcon IREX replaces the old pellistor heads that are installed.

The procedure is easy by simply mounting the IREX on the original junction box and connecting to the original cable. The system enables the use of dual-wavelength Infrared Gas Detector technology without possible heavy costs that can occur when replacing the control system and re-installation.
