The Safety Systems Technology (SST) FT194 is a portable source of UV/IR radiation to test UV/IR Flame Detectors. The SST FT194 emits a wide band of UV radiation which includes the region of 1850 and 2450 Angstrom, corresponding to the response of UV Flame Detectors. The FT194 also emits IR radiation which pulsates at a slow rate to simulate the flicker that occurs in a real fire.
