The Salwico 1156 is a IR Test Lamp that is used to test the Salwico NS-DIR IP67 IR Flame Detector. The Salwico 1156 IR Test Lamp comes with an extension rod, which makes it possible to test the Detector in all environments.
With the Salwico 1156 IR Test Lamp it is possible to test the Detector in 2 ways. The Salwico 1156 can be pressed against the Detector until the Detector causes the tripping of the test initiation switch with an intermittent buzzer sound. After 10-15 seconds, the Detector should have operated.
An alternative method is to set the manual test switch to “ON” which causes a continuous intermittent buzzer sound. Hold the tester close to the Detector so the distance between the tester and the detector is within 5cm. If the Detector operates within 30 seconds, the Detector is in good condition.
