The Hochiki FB-1 FIREbeam is a reflective Beam Smoke Detector which can self-align itself to the centre of the reflector when commissioning. Once the Hochiki FB-1 is commissioned, it continuously monitors the alignment and will automatically realign itself when building movement occurs.
The Hochiki FB-1 comes with a separate controller unit which allows the FB-1 to be monitored, commissioned and maintained from a ground level. The Detector range is 40m for the standard unit, and can be increased to 80m or 100m with the use of medium or long range reflector kits.
