The Hochiki IFD-E(IS) is an Intrinsically Safe IR3 Flame Detector is designed to be used where open flame fires can be expected, and responds to the light that is emitted from flames. The IFD-E(IS) Flame Detector makes a distinction between flames and other light sources by responding to particular optical wavelengths and flame flicker frequencies.
The Hochiki IFD-E(IS) is ideal for the detection of flames from the burning of Aviation Fuels (kerosene), Butane, Grain & Feeds, Hydrogen, Paper, Natural Gas, Petrol (gasoline) etc.
