The Apollo XP95 45681-284APO is an isolating base that senses and isolates short circuit faults on the system loops and spurs. The 45681-284APO is loop-powered, polarity senstive and accepts the XPERT card to set the address of the associated device.
When there is a short circuit, the integral yellow LED will be illuminated. The detector associated with the 45681-284APO remains active under the short circuit conditions. Power and signals to the affected section are restored automatically when the fault is cleared.
