The Tyco 557.202.080 TLI800EN is a network card, which allows for the fragmentation of a number of fire controllers to be drawn into a network system. The TLI800EN communications network comprises a collection of network interface modules and peripheral equipment that together form a fault resistant and flexible peer-to-peer network for the Fireclass Digital addressable fire systems controllers.
One TLI800EN is required per FireClass and is installed onto the FireClass Main Processor board.
The TLI800EN is used to:
Connect up to 24 Fireclass panels or other nodes to a single network
Connect the Emergency display used to display an alarm in case of a System fault
Supported network communications media:
Shielded twisted pair copper cable (RS485 standard)
Fibre optic cable (multimode 50/125m or 62.5/125 m)
Features
All field wiring terminations connect via removable terminal blocks
Two RS-485 connections for twisted pair network communications
Earth fault detection and isolation
Onboard diagnostic LEDs. These indicate network communications activity and TLI800EN module faults
Two Micro Controller Units. One is used as a backup microprocessor. These provide MCU fault detection and Emergency Mode fire alarm monitoring in the case of MCU failure
Fire Alarm input, Fire Alarm output, and RS-485 Emergency Display connections for use in Emergency Mode
