The Tyco RIM800 (568.800.003) is an addressable relay interface module that provides a single programmable relay output from the MX DIGITAL addressable loop. It enables engineers to control and interface with external equipment directly from the fire alarm system, making it ideal for applications such as fire doors, dampers, plant shutdown systems, machinery controls, and security systems.

Furthermore, the RIM800 continuously monitors its relay coil to ensure reliable operation and fault reporting. As a result, engineers can confidently integrate critical external equipment while maintaining system integrity and supervision.

The relay contact is rated at 2A at 24V DC. In addition, when used with the Tyco HVR800 High Voltage Relay Module, the RIM800 can safely switch mains voltage circuits.
