The Tyco CCU3/C-MXMB (557.202.046) provides a MODBUS interface for Tyco MX fire alarm systems, enabling third-party systems and building management platforms to communicate with multiple MX panels across an MXNet network. As a result, engineers can integrate fire alarm information into wider monitoring and control systems while maintaining reliable access to system data.

The module connects to MX panels through a TLI-800 (TPI) interface card using an RS232 connection. Furthermore, it supports RS232, RS485, and RS422 MODBUS communications, providing flexibility for a wide range of integration requirements.

In addition, the CCU3/C-MXMB allows up to eight CCU/IO modules to be connected. Each CCU/IO module provides eight relay outputs and eight supervised inputs, enabling external devices to be monitored and controlled directly through the MODBUS interface. Consequently, engineers can expand system functionality without requiring additional communication gateways.
