Tyco MIO800 Multi Input/Output Module (555.800.065)

The Tyco MIO800 (555.800.065) is a versatile multi input/output module designed for use with MX technology fire detection systems. It enables engineers to connect and monitor external equipment directly through the MX Digital Loop, providing a flexible solution for interfacing with building services, control systems, and other ancillary devices.

The module provides three monitored inputs and four programmable outputs, allowing multiple connections between the fire alarm system and external equipment. Furthermore, engineers can independently configure each input and output using the MX CONSYS configuration tool, making it easy to tailor the module’s functionality to specific project requirements.

In addition, the MIO800 supports both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) inputs and continuously monitors wiring for open- and short circuit faults. As a result, the module helps maintain reliable operation while providing clear fault reporting.

The MIO800 is supplied in an IP55-rated D800 enclosure as standard. Alternatively, engineers can install the module inside control cabinets using the optional DIN rail mounting kit.
