Tyco 801IB 4″ Detector isolator base 516.800.903

The Tyco 801IB (516.800.903) is a 4-inch isolator detector base designed for use on Tyco MX addressable fire alarm loop circuits. It continuously monitors the loop and automatically isolates any section affected by a short circuit, allowing the rest of the system to continue operating normally.

By preventing a single short circuit from affecting an entire detection loop, the 801IB helps maintain system integrity and minimises the number of devices taken out of service during a fault condition. As a result, it improves system resilience and supports compliance with BS5839 Part 1 requirements.
