The Tyco 801CHEx (516.800.531) is an intrinsically safe carbon monoxide and heat detector designed for use in dangerous and demanding environments. As part of the Tyco 800Ex Series, it combines advanced CO sensing with heat detection technology, providing reliable fire detection where traditional smoke detectors may be less effective, such as in dusty or contaminated areas.

Designed for use with the Tyco 5BEx Base, the 801CHEx communicates with the T2000 Fire Controller, continuously transmitting detector status information for accurate alarm processing and system monitoring. Furthermore, its detection modes allow engineers and system designers to tailor fire detection performance to specific application requirements.
