Tyco 601F IR Flame Detector 516.600.006

The Tyco 601F (516.600.006) is a conventional flame detector designed to provide fast and reliable flame detection in large indoor areas. Using solar-blind infrared technology, it can detect flames quickly while remaining highly resistant to false alarms caused by sunlight.

The detector is particularly effective at detecting fires involving clean-burning fuels such as alcohol and methane, which may not produce enough smoke to activate a smoke detector. For best performance, the 601F requires a clear line of sight to the area being protected.
