The Tyco CP830Exn (514.800.514) is a weatherproof addressable break glass Manual Call Point that is designed to monitor and signal the condition of a switch contact which is operated by breaking a glass sheet.
When the Tyco 830CP is addressed by the controller, it signals the condition of the switch to the controller. When the switch contact is in the “ALARM” condition, a LED is illuminated. The operation of the CP830Exn can be tested with the aid of a special tool that is provided. This tool is inserted into the bottom of the housing, which moves the glass down and operates the switch contact.
