Enraf EM540 Radar Gauge
The Enraf EM540 Radar Gauge is a standalone radar which used Frequency Modulated Continuous Waves (FMCW). The distance between the antenna and the surface of the liquid is measured trough the propagation of the FMCW signal. An embedded data processor is then able to compute the distance with high accuracy. The calculated ullage in millimeters is then directly sent to the cargo control room.
