Hekatron SCD 573 Addressable Smoke Detector 5000610-0111

The Hekatron SCD 573 is an addressable smoke detector that detects smouldring and open fires with smoke development.

The Hekatron SCD 573 is an addressable smoke detector that detects smouldring and open fires with smoke development. The light transmitter and the photo receiver are arranged inside the measurement chamber, in such a way that the light beam from the transmitter can’t shine directly onto the photo receiver. Only the light scattered by the floating particles reaches the receiver and is converted into an electrical signal. An appropriate signal is sent to the control panel, if the signal values specified in the detector are exceeded. The Hekatron SCD 573 is equipped with a short circuit isolator that is capable of isolating a short circuit in the installation.

The SCD 573 can generate the following messages:
Fire alarm smoke
Smoke pre-warning at 75 % of alarm threshold
Contamination
Revision alarm for smoke
Fault messages: Optical system error, supply voltage error, general malfunction

Features
Digital signal processing
Alarm threshold tracing
Temperature-supported smoke evaluation
Temperature-compensated smoke part
Signature alarm for smoke
Multidimensional event memory
Smoke alarm filter to reduce the occurrence of false alarms
Downward compatibility with SSD-531 and MSD533 detector series
