The Salwico SWM-1KL 037174 is a heat detector with a temperature fixed at 140°C. The Salwico SWM-1KL is designed for use in damp spaces with very high ambient temperatures, such as saunas. The SWM-1KL contains a bimetallic thermostat which closes its contacts at alarm temperature.
A red LED shows a fire alarm on the detector. The LED will remain lit until the alarm has been reset on the fire alarm panel.
The SWM-1KL is made in four different versions for the alarm temperatures 57°C, 80°C, 100°C and 140°C. The 140°C version has no alarm indication, but an external indication unit can be connected.
The detector is also available in an intrinsically safe version, SWM-1KL/IS
