The Spectrex Sharpeye 20/20ML is a compact, lightweight but rugged UV/IR Flame Detector for general purpose (non-Ex approved) areas. The Sharpeye 20/20ML can detect a hydrocarbon fire at distances up to 15m (15ft).
The Spectrex Sharpeye 20/20ML combines UV and IR sensors and can detect hydrocarbon-based fuel and gas fires, hydroxyl and hydrogen fires, as well as metal and inorganic fires. The UV sensor incorporates a special logic circuit that helps prevent false alarms caused by solar radiation. When the UV and the IR sensor simultaneously detect radiant energy, they will trigger an alarm.
