Hochiki 16591 UV/Dual IR Flame Detector

The Hochiki 16591 is an IR2 Flame Detector with an UV detection element. The Hochiki 16591 is designed to be used where open flaming fires may be expected and responds to the light that is emitted from flames during combustion.

The Hochiki 16591 Flame Detector can distinguish between flames and other light sources by responding only to particular optical wavelengths and flame flicker frequencies. This enables the Hochiki 16591 to avoid false alarms due to such factors as flickering sunlight.

The Hochiki 16591 is ideal for the detection of flames from the burning of Aviation Fuels (kerosene), Butane, Grain & Feeds, Hydrogen, Paper, Natural Gas, Petrol (gasoline) etc.
