Garbarino MU-MPF Protable Diesel Engine Fire Centrifugal Pump

The Garbarino MU-MPF is a marine portable diesel engine fire centrifugal pump for emergency services, fire fighting and drainage.

The MU-MPF is a compact and lightweight construction for easy transportation. It can be pushed by one individual due to the front wheels. In case of obstacles, it can be lifted with 2 individuals. The MU-MPF is a self-priming pump with a high suction capacity and is designed for pumping seawater. It has automatic priming, without the need of of operator action. The control panel of the Garbarino MU-MPF is equipped with instruments, an accelerator and an engine stop.

The Garbarino MU-MPF Protable Diesel Engine Fire Centrifugal Pump has fast and automatic priming with a suction lift of 7.5 meter. 2 UNI 45 fire hoses at 7 bar with a 5m suction height can be equipped to the Garbarino MU-MPF. The MU-MPF has a drainage capacity of 70 m3/h with 5m suction height.

The Garbarino MU-MPF Protable Diesel Engine Fire Centrifugal Pump is made of light alloy material that is highly resistant to seawater corrosion. The impeller is in nickel-aluminium-bronze, with superior resistance to seawater and cavitation. The MU-MPF has an oversized stainless steel shaft to minimize deflection due to hydraulic loads. The MU_MPF also has high quality mechanical seals with hard faces that are resistant to dry-running. Thrust bearings can be fitted into the pump to avoid axial load on the engine shaft. The casing and cover has removable aluminium-bronze wear rings. The MU-MPF also has an external high vacuum pump, driven by belt and clutch; automatic or manual start and stop.
