Servoteknikk ORM-130 EX-I Optical Smoke Detector

The Servoteknikk ORM-130 EX-I recognizes at an early stage smouldering fire and open flames with smoke development. It operates on the principle of a dispersion photometer. The light transmitter and the light receiver are arranged in the sensor chamber so that the beam emitted by the transmitter cannot directly enter the receiver. When suspended particles enter the chamber, the light beam is dispersed and light enters the receiver. The ORM-130 EX-I is an optical smoke detector  for installation in hazardous areas zone 1 and 2.
