Hekatron STD-531 Multisensor Detector
Hekatron STD-531 is a multisensor detector. It can be used temporarily as a smoke detector or as a heat detector and in a logical OR-linkage of both sensor components. The smoke sensor of the STD-531 provides early detection of smouldering, glowing or open fires with smoke generation. The heat sensor detects the rapid development of fires and high temperatures for open fires with and without smoke generation. The detector's heat component can be parameterised via the software into classes A1, A2 and B. With two response thresholds, the smoke sensor is permanently monitored for contamination and continuously reports its condition to the central control system. Optimal operation is guaranteed by the detector's self-monitoring function. The detector can be controlled within a clearly defined range from the central control system. Thus, for example, response properties can undergo time- or event-dependent modification.
