Hekatron ORM 130-EX-I Optical Smoke Detector
The Hekatron ORM-130-EX-I recognizes smouldering, glowing and flaming fires with smoke development at an early stage. It operates on the principle of light scatter. A light source and light sensor inside the sensing chamber are arranged in a way that light normally does not fall on the sensor. Only when smoke enters the chamber, light is scattered on the sensor and is transformed into an electrical signal.
