STI 8230-W Steel Smoke Detector Stopper, white finish - surface mount

The STI-8230W is designed to protect vulnerable detectors while not compromising their effective operation. The design has a matrix of perforations that provides access for smoke to the detector while providing a protective shield against vandalism or misuse.

This model has been manufactured from 16 gauge (1.5mm) cold rolled steel with a white corrosion resistant polyester coating. The steel gives it strength and durability and protects detectors which may be frequently vandalised causing high maintenance costs and false fire alarms.
